Rental Requirements:
- Driver: Age 25+
- Minimum rental of 2 hours
- Passengers: All Ages
- REQUIRED: $1,000 damage deposit at the time of rental (Credit Card, Etransfer, or Cash)*
Note: It is required to have both previous boating experience and a P.C.O.C license in order to be able to rent this boat as a driver.
Driver must be over 25 years of age and provide a valid photo ID.
Boating Safety Rules
- I, the pleasure craft operator, (“I”) confirm that there are the appropriate number and sizes of approved Personal Floatation Devices or Life Jackets in the boat for the number of people on board. They must fit and should be worn.
- I am aware that it is illegal to operate a pleasure craft, or to permit others to do so, when under the influence of alcohol, narcotics or barbiturates.
- I will only allow people who have completed and signed a rental boat safety check list, valid for the duration of this rental or have other proof of competency, to operate this pleasure craft.
- I have been shown how to use, and know the location of the bailer, whistle, fire extinguisher, paddles, flashlight, and buoyant heaving line.
- I understand that pleasure craft fitted with motors must keep clear of non-powered pleasure craft.
- I also understand that I am responsible for my own wake and wash and the effects that it can have on other pleasure craft, property, wildlife and the environment.
- If I am involved in an accident I must stop, I must offer my assistance and give my identity.
Operation of the boat
- I am aware of how to responsibly operate a pleasure craft and to share waterways in a courteous and respectful manner with others involved in all water-related activities.
- I confirm the maximum load capacity and number of persons in the pleasure craft will not exceed 6 people.
- I am aware of the proper way to distribute weight in the pleasure craft for safe and comfortable ride and I will always keep my passengers in the safest positions – always seated while underway.
- I have been shown that the engine must be in neutral when starting or stopping the engine and will make sure no person is in the water within the vicinity of the pleasure craft before starting and while running the motor.
- I have been shown and understand the operation of the throttle and gearshift lever and know where and how to operate the ignition cut off (kill) switch.
- I will ensure I have dock crew assistance as I depart and approach the dock and I will contact Liquid Asset Boat Rentals in the event I need assistance with the vessel.
- I know that the operator of a rented pleasure craft fitted with a motor may be subject to ticketing and a fine if he/she operate the craft in violation to items 1, 3 and/or 4 listed above.
Please read prior to booking
- All guests must be present to sign a copy of the Terms of Use and Release of Indemnity Agreement before departure.
- There is a $1,000 damage deposit.
- No Fishing permitted.
- 2 Hour minimum rental.
- You must be at least 25 years of age and have a valid P.C.O.C.
- If the renter is too inexperienced or may pose a danger to the safety of the vessel or themselves, we will deny the rental.
- No alcohol or illicit substances are permitted on the vessel at any time.
- Vessels must stay within boundaries discussed at time of departure.
- Vessels may not leave Canadian waters.
- Any damage to the vessel is the Renters responsibility.
- Any damage to the environment, other vessels or docks is the Renter’s responsibility.
- Liquid Asset Boat Rentals reserves the right to cancel Rentals last minute due to Safety reasons including bad weather.
- If a rental is canceled due to safety reasons, we will return reservation deposits.
